Data Custodian (DC)

Employee responsible for approving (FAST) requests for access.

Desk Support Person (DSP) Employee responsible for supporting users desktop PCs.
EAS - Application Security EAS - Application Security is part of Enterprise Applications Support (EAS) and is responsible for supporting and maintaining users application security for new and existing systems. IS Application Security is often referred to as IS Security.
FAB FAB is the PeopleSoft Financials Accounting Budgeting system.
FAMIS FAMIS is the Facility Administration and Management Information System. FAMIS is primarily used by maintenance personnel to track maintenance functions, organize work requests, schedule work to be performed, and distribute costs associated with work orders.
FAST FAST is an application used to request, manage, and track users access to client /server applications.
Host Reg HostReg (Host Registration) is a web application used to track PC inventories. The PCs are registered and an IP address is assigned to them.
HRSA HRSA is the PeopleSoft Human Resource and Student Administration system.
Information Coordinator (IC)

Employee responsible for submitting (FAST) requests for access for individuals in their department.

Key Security Contact (KSC) Employee responsible for developing the functional access required by users to do their jobs.
Peoplesoft (PS) Peoplesoft is an enterprise system. The two PS systems used at Syracuse University are HRSA and Financials.
SSO

SSO allows a user to log in only one time to access multiple applications instead of logging into each application separately. SSO is also known as Firststep Single Signon.
