ITS offers two services for creating personal websites, Expressions and MySite.
Expressions websites are built using the WordPress platform. Expressions websites are excellent for those looking to build a quick site, or those looking to customize their site using themes and plugins.
Create your site by visiting http://expressions.syr.edu.
Once made, your Expressions website will be available at your-netid.expressions.syr.edu.

MySite websites are 50MB of space on an ITS web server. MySite allows users to redirect traffic to other websites or webservers. MySite users will frequently use software [ex. Dreamweaver] to create their sites, or will write code directly.
Create your site by visiting http://mysite.syr.edu.
Once made, your MySite website will be available at your-netid.mysite.syr.edu.
