Technology affects the way we learn and work at Syracuse University and beyond our campus borders. It
enables students, faculty, and staff to connect to, share, and communicate information, knowledge,
and creativity on campus, off campus, and with our global neighbors in a variety of formats-voice,
analog, digital, video, words, music, art, and numbers.
Technology can play a critical role in
supporting the University's vision of a creative campus where discovery and learning have no physical
boundaries. The challenge is to build and maintain a state-of-the-art, integrated system that can
deliver information, regardless of how it is packaged, to people who need it, when they need it, and
in forms they readily understand.
