The AirOrange high-speed, wireless network is a free service available to Syracuse University
guests and campus visitors.
AirOrange Guest accounts provide access to many of the University's computing resources for
campus guests who do not have a NetID. Students, faculty, and staff can create guest accounts
through the AirOrange Web access at http://airorange.syr.edu.
AirOrange Visitor enables campus visitors to access the Internet, Web-based e-mail services,
and connections to off-campus Virtual Private Networks (VPN) via AirOrange hotspots located
in public spaces in University-owned buildings on the main campus, South campus and in downtown
Syracuse. This level of access to the University's wireless network does not require a guest
account.
Steps to connect:
- Enable "wireless network" on a PC or "AirPort" on a Macintosh
- Open "view available wireless networks"

- Open a Web browser and type in http://airorange.syr.edu
- Follow the directions on the screen to gain access to either a "Guest account" or
