Students, faculty, and staff may redirect their official syr.edu e-mail to another address,
such as @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, @Yahoo.com, or @aol.com. The University recommends that students
access their official syr.edu e-mail account by using SUmail and should follow the instructions found on
the SUmail information page.
Faculty and Staff must first activate their NetID prior to redirecting their email to
another service.
After activating your NetID, follow these steps:
- Click on "Manage Your NetID"
- Log on to the system with your NetID and password
- Select "Change syr.edu mail delivery" and fill in the requested information
