You must make a new account for MyMail within Entourage. Do not attempt to edit your existing OrangeMail account in Entourage.
Begin the process of creating a new account for MyMail within Entourage by following the instructions on the following Web site until you reach Step 5.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to set up Entourage for MyMail, you will need to make the following modifications to the Web instructions:
1) At Step 5, select IMAP for the Account Type instead of POP.
2) At Step 6, use the following settings:
Account name: MyMail
Name: Your name as you want it to appear in your message header
Email address: Your @syr.edu e-mail address
Account ID: (Your NetID)
IMAP server: IMAP-SERVER.SYR.EDU
Password: Your NetID password
SMTP server: SMTP-HOST.SYR.EDU
IGNORE the NOTE box about SMTP relay.
3) At Step 7, make the following changes:
Check "SMTP service requires secure connection (SSL)"
DO NOT check "Override default SMTP port"
DO NOT change the port number
This will complete your MyMail account setup.
Note: If you are off campus, your internet service provider (ISP) may not allow outgoing mail to be sent through SMTP-HOST.SYR.EDU. In that case, please consult your ISP for the proper outgoing mail settings or connect to the Syracuse University VPN before using your e-mail client.
FINAL NOTE: You will also need to edit your old OrangeMail POP account in Entourage to remove the checkmark in front of "Include this account in my 'Send & Receive All' schedule" at the top of the Account Settings screen (see illustration under Step 6 in the Web instructions).
