All messages that you delete from the MyMail inbox, sent folder, or other mail folders are moved to the MyMail TRASH folder. See directions listed below.

WARNING: Seven (7) days after a message is sent to the TRASH folder, the message will be automatically removed from the MyMail system. You will not be able to recover messages that are removed from TRASH. Do not use TRASH as a place to store e-mail messages.

Directions for deleting messages from MyMail folders:

  • Open the folder you want to clean up.
  • Place a checkmark next to each message you want to delete
  • Click DELETE on the tool bar.
  • Deleted messages are sent to the TRASH folder. The messages will be automatically removed from the system seven (7) days after they are sent to TRASH.

Directions for manually emptying the Trash folder:

  • Open the Trash folder
  • Place a checkmark next to the messages you want to permanently remove from MyMail
  • Click DELETE on the tool bar.
  • You may also empty all of the e-mail from Trash by clicking on the "Empty Trash" icon at the top of the MyMail screen

WARNING: Messages that are deleted from the TRASH folder cannot be recovered.
