____________
Academic No/Charge Program: Faculty members receive free photographic support for classroom use only. The program covers creating slides from books, journals, and other periodicals; slide scans and digital capture via digital camera to CD-ROMs; and traditional color slides made from PowerPoint presentations. All slides must be used in classroom teaching and are the property of Syracuse University. Each faculty member receives $200 worth of free, slide service per semester. Using current PIC pricing, this equates to 80 slides from flat artwork or scans of existing slides to digital format; approximately 285 slide dupes; or 28 rolls of slide film processed and mounted, if you choose to shoot your own slides. Costs are debited from a faculty member's account at standard PIC prices. After the limit is reached, each additional is 40 cents per slide. Payment may be made using Inter-Departmental Order (ID), cash or personal check. Your individual department may reimburse you, but please check ahead of time. One-week turn around time is greatly appreciated.
