Accessing MySite Web using Mac OSX

- Macintosh users must use the third party Goliath application to create their MySite web server connection.
- Goliath can be downloaded at http://www.webdav.org/goliath/
- On the left panel, click on Download
- Choose the version appropriate for your operating system
- Complete installation
- Click to open Goliath.
- A login window will pop up.
- Type your MySite WebDAV address, i.e. https://yournetid.mysite.syr.edu/admin in the URL field.
- Enter your NetID and password
- Click OK
- The first time you attempt to logon to your WebDAV account, you will be prompted to install the certificate.
- Place a check in the Install Certificate box.
- The continue button will appear.
- Click Continue.
- Once the Certificate is installed, the WebDAV folder will open.
- You can easily upload and download files between the computer and the WebDAV folder by clicking Web on the menu bar.
- Choose Upload File to copy files from your computer to the WebDAV folder
or
- Download Items to copy files from your WebDAV folder to your computer.
