This option allows you to permanently delete an existing MySite web, the address,
and the content.
Important: This operation will delete ALL of your MySite web content from the
MySite server permanently. Be sure to backup any files that you wish to retain before removing
your MySite web. Deleting your MySite web will not affect any content that is stored on
other web servers or Content Management Systems across campus.
- Navigate to the MySite signup page, http://mysite.syr.edu
- Log into the site using your NetID account and password.
- Upon log in, you will see the default Setup screen. The Delete MySite button is at the bottom of the page:
- Click Delete MySite.
- You will be asked to confirm deletion. Click Yes, Delete MySite to permanently delete your MySite.
