Information Technology and Services at Syracuse University manages a campuswide licensing and maintenance program for SAS products for Windows, Macintosh, and Red Hat Linux workstations. Use this order form to request a new license or renew an existing license under the Campuswide Agreement. This Agreement requires an annual license fee to run SAS and also authorizes licensed users to upgrade to any new releases during the year at no additional charge.

Windows VISTA Business is supported by SAS version 9.2 and 9.1.3 SP4

MANUALS:
No printed manuals are provided. Media kits do include a feature: "SAS OnlineDoc 9.1 for the Web", an HTML database of indexed and searchable SAS documentation. A web browser can access this directly from the CD or installed on your workstation. The same content can be searched at the SAS Institute web site SAS OnLineDoc 9.1.3. PDF versions of many SAS manuals can be downloaded for free or print-on-demand books can be ordered from the SAS documentation site SAS 9.1.3 Documentation in PDF.

General support is available in Bird Library at the Geographic and Statistical Information Center. ITS support is provided through Academic Information Systems (CST 1-130).

Our SAS Education Analystic Suite contract covers Windows, Mac, and Linux versions of SAS.
DO NOT use this form for Mac orders, since it involves special pricing.

This form includes several sections. Please complete all the sections that apply to your request. If you have special circumstances, such as running SAS on a Macintosh or requesting multiple copies of SAS, please send email directly to SUORDERS at suorders@syr.edu with an explanation. This form is intended for individual orders only.

Home Use Provision

Our campuswide license agreement for SAS allows for employees who have individual licenses to run SAS on their office computers to install a second copy on their home computer at no additional cost. Select this option only if you have a second copy of SAS running on a home computer or if you intend to install a second copy at home. If you will be using only one copy of SAS, on either your office machine or your home computer, you need not select this option. See SAS Home Use Agreement Terms and Conditions for full details.
