VITEC Solutions is a privately owned computing services vendor. Students who need computing hardware or software repair services that cannot be handled through SU's Student Computing Support Services program, will be referred to VITEC Solutions. Information about accessing VITEC Solutions services is available at the Student Computing Centers located in the Kimmel Computer Lab, and the Goldstein Student Center Computer Lab on South Campus. Support staff will be available in the Student Computing Centers from 2 to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 2 to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

VITEC Solutions provides warranty and other computing repair services for more than 15 computing equipment manufacturers, including Toshiba, IBM and Hewlett Packard/Compaq. Customers are notified if the service needed is not covered under warranty. VITEC Solutions provides a 30-day labor warranty for its services. Parts carry the specific manufacturer's warranty (typically 30 days to one year).

There is a non-refundable minimum charge of $64 plus tax for all post-warranty estimates. The charge will be applied to the total repair cost. If the cost of repair will exceed $110 (not including taxes), customers are required to give their approval before the repairs are made. If the repair can be completed for $110 (not including taxes) or less, the customer will not be notified until the repair is completed. For more information, call VITEC Solutions at 1-800-955-5959.
