- Message tracking
- Folders to organize email
- Forwarding, POP3, IMAP, and Outlook Connector for mobile phone and personal computer access
- Spam filtering and phishing protection

- Keep your email address after you graduate
As a registered SUmail user, you'll be able to take
advantage of other Live@edu services at no cost, including Office Live Workspaces; Windows Live
SkyDrive; Windows Live Spaces; Microsoft SharedView beta; Windows Live Messenger; and Windows Live

PLEASE NOTE: Many people manage their SUmail incoming and outgoing e-mail directly
through the SUmail Web interface. However, if you use a third-party e-mail package to access your SUmail

Using SUmail with other E-mail Packages (i.e. Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
SUmail Tips:
- Redirect / Forward your SUmail
- You will be allowed to temporarily login to your Mymail account to forward any existing email
to your new SUmail account.
University e-mail policy note
The SU e-mail policy requires that all official
University e-mail communications be sent to your @syr.edu e-mail address. You can use only one
e-mail package to pick up messages from your @syr.edu account. If you choose to re-direct
your @syr.edu e-mail to another account, such as @gmail.com, or @yahoo.com, you do so at your own
risk.
