Antivirus software is required for all computers connected to Syracuse University's wired or
wireless network (AirOrange). A list of recommended antivirus software is available on
the ITS antivirus Web page. If no antivirus software is installed,
or if the installed software does not meet University requirements, the University's version of
McAfee antivirus software will be available for Windows XP and Vista computers during
the computer registration process at no cost to residential students.
