introduction
|
All SU students can obtain a NetID. A NetID will provide you access to your own personal
space on the ITS Unix server. A server is a computer that manages multiple functions
through a network for large groups of people, such as email distribution, printing, and Web support.
The ITS Unix environment, which runs on a Unix platform, allows students with a NetID to email, print, and
develop Web pages.
