Core Infrastructure Services

What We Do

The Core Infrastructure Services (CIS) team provides support for desktop computing, server and storage hardware, and the University’s cloud computing environment:

  • CIS monitors and manages server and storage hardware and a robust virtual environment, forming a private cloud that delivers applications and services to the entire University community.
  • CIS supports the desktop computing environment for all students, faculty and staff, including email, file storage, remote access and printing on campus.
  • In addition to server and storage hardware that delivers applications and services to the entire university community, CIS provides hosting services for schools and colleges, thus assisting their provision of applications and services that are specific to their academic needs.
