What We Do
Network and Wiring Services (NWS) plans, designs, installs, maintains, and services the campus community’s network and communications infrastructure for voice, Ethernet (network) and wireless services.
NWS also provides a host of other wired connectivity services for door access/monitoring, life safety systems, vending and laundry machines, the Campus Blue Light System, and the campus Video Surveillance System. Network Wiring Services also plans, maintains, and services all Residential Network (ResNet) connections, wireless and CATV for students living in the Residence Halls.
We work in conjunction with the Office of Telecommunications to schedule requests for new telephone services, moves or upgrades to existing telephone service and repairs. Please refer to the Telecommunications web site for additional information, or you may contact their office at (315) 443-4730 with any questions.
