In this week’s Friday Five interview, we talk to new ITS team member Jen Patterson, computer consultant with Academic Computing Services.
1. What is your role within ITS and how long have you worked at the University?
I just started on Monday and I will eventually be supporting some of the facilities management groups that support campus infrastructure.
2. Why were you interested in working at ITS?
My background has been in IT for quite a few years and I enjoy the challenges that technology brings because it is always changing.
3. What is your favorite Syracuse restaurant?
I love Sakana-Ya because I can eat my share and then some of sushi.
4. How do you like to spend your free time?
My free time is spent with my kids, their sports-lacrosse and baseball, and my sports – kickboxing, lifting and running.
5. What is your favorite TV show?
I’d probably have to go with Friends as my favorite TV show.
