System Alerts & Status

ITS publishes Notifications (for scheduled downtimes) and Alerts (for unscheduled downtimes or outages) here on the System Status page and by email to the NOTIFY_ITS listserv.

ITS will notify the campus community of any confirmed outage.  Outage alerts will be posted on this page under Unscheduled System Alerts or Scheduled System Downtimes. ITS will notify the campus community when the issue is resolved. Actual problem resolution time can vary, depending on the nature and cause of the disruption.  ITS views any situation that results in a widespread disruption of message delivery as critical, and applies all due resources and effort towards an accurate diagnosis and expeditious resolution of the problem.

SA to be unavailable - scheduled

Description: n order to perform routine maintenance, the MySlice portal and all of the services accessed through the portal will be unavailable between 6:00 a.m. and noon ET on Sunday June 3, 2018. This outage includes MySlice, the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, the Campus Solutions (CS) system, the PeopleSoft Financials system, and MyReports. In addition, the following online services which are accessed through MySlice will be unavailable: All Self-Service applications, Holds, Course Catalog and Class Search services, Global Survey, Orange Alert, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Grants, Budget, Asset Management and Endowments, Financial Aid Portfolio, Student Loan Lenders, Student Athletic Management, and Faculty Center.

How to Subscribe to Outage Notification

To receive Notifications and Alerts by email, subscribe to the NOTIFY_ITS listserv:

  1. Click this link:
  2. Delete the signature line from the body of the email if it is included automatically. You do not need to enter a subject.
  3. Include the following line in the body of the message: subscribe NOTIFY_ITS Your_name
  4. You may omit your name if your email program automatically includes it in your email header.
  5. Send the email.

You will receive a request to confirm your subscription. Click on the confirmation link in the email and you’re done.
