OnBase Upgrade

We are excited to announce an upcoming upgrade to OnBase and share resources to help you prepare for the transition.

Important Details

System Downtime: OnBase will be unavailable starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Sept. 21, during the upgrade process. Please note that the MySlice tiles eForms and Financial Aid will also be unavailable during this time.

Client Updates: The upgraded OnBase Unity Client and OnBase Web Client will look similar to what you’re accustomed to.  The OnBase Unity Client will be available as an application in the Windows 11 environment and will automatically deploy to the Windows 11 machines of current OnBase users.  The upgraded version of OnBase Unity Client will not run on Win10.

The OnBase Thick Client must be phased out for general use, and the Unity Client will be the only option available to deploy without additional permissions. The “Configuration” and “Thick” clients will be available based upon specific need and will require OnBase team approval.

Future Enhancements

This upgrade enables exciting future projects and functionality, including:

  1. An electronic Performance Partnership process
  2. Mobile device availability
  3. Enhanced email integration
  4. Cloud migration capabilities
